Kempower: 360-degree customized solutions
September 2, 2026Ahead of the next edition of E-Charge, scheduled to take place from 7 to 9 October 2026 at BolognaFiere, we are republishing the interview with Renato Francesco Urcia Larios, Sales Manager Italy at Ekoenergetyka, conducted during last year’s edition.
“The CPO and utility sector is stable, and there is a strong willingness to implement solutions that can ensure shorter charging times. The market for electric buses and vehicles is expanding, while public transport operators have the opportunity to benefit from EU funding, and there is a growing commitment to creating zero-emission transport systems.”
This is according to Renato Francesco Urcia Larios, Sales Manager Italy at Ekoenergetyka, a company specialising in advanced charging solutions which, as an independent manufacturer, develops its own proprietary technologies.
“Our products offer high charging power, starting from 120 kW,” he adds. “At E-Charge 2025, we showcased the Axon Easy 400, a next-generation all-in-one charging station offering multiple power levels, and the Sat 1500 MCS, a high-power split charging system delivering more than 1 MW and up to 1,500 A for heavy-duty electric vehicles. It combines both MCS and CCS2 connectors and reduces charging times to just 35 minutes.”
How will the market evolve over the coming years? “In the electric truck sector, private companies are increasingly investing in fast and reliable charging systems, creating favourable conditions for further market development.”
A pioneering conference
Against this backdrop, how do you assess a trade fair such as E-Charge 2025? “My impression was very positive; we made a number of valuable contacts. I also consider the MCS Megawatt Day panel to have been extremely important, as it provided an opportunity to discuss and explore these technologies. It was an almost pioneering conference for the Italian market and a very valuable opportunity for industry professionals to exchange views.”
