Plus International: customized charging stations are the company’s flagship products
September 2, 2026In view of the upcoming edition of E-Charge, taking place from 7 to 9 October 2026 at BolognaFiere, we are republishing the interview with Mattia De Lorenzo, Sales Project Manager Commercial Fleet at Kempower, conducted during last year’s edition.
“We provide 360-degree solutions, always tailored to the needs of the customer who approaches us.” This is how Mattia De Lorenzo, Sales Project Manager Commercial Fleet at Kempower, a company offering fast and scalable charging solutions for electric vehicles, begins.
“Our solutions can be used for both private and public charging,” he continues. “The goal is to create hubs serving both trucks and light-duty vehicles. We offer customers plans that include an initial infrastructure, which can then be expanded with additional charging points.”
The company’s offering includes a modular and scalable Power Unit for powering satellites, pantographs, or Control Units. The end result is a solution that, combined with the charger, can be adapted for cars, commercial vehicles, and construction and industrial equipment.
How is the market environment in which Kempower operates evolving? “The situation is particularly positive for trucks and buses,” De Lorenzo explains. “The light-duty vehicle segment is also growing, although with significant variations from one quarter to another.”
According to De Lorenzo, the coming years will see further acceleration in charging solutions for trucks, alongside continued growth in the electric car segment. Much will depend on the direction taken by European policies.
A well-attended trade show
What was his impression of E-Charge 2025? “It was a very well-attended event, attracting an audience that was highly attentive to innovation and keen to explore new functionalities for their specific applications.”
