MOON POWER Italia and its partnership with MAN Italia
September 2, 2026Ahead of the next edition of E-Charge, scheduled to take place from October 7 to 9, 2026 at BolognaFiere, we are republishing the interview with Jacopo Carlo Perino, Chief Sales Officer and Co-Founder of Plus EV, conducted during last year’s edition.
“What sets us apart is the customization of both AC and DC chargers, designed for the public resale of energy. The flagship products we are showcasing at the exhibition are charging stations offering a range of customization options. These include the SF 30, a 30 kW DC + 22 kW AC charger, designed for car parks and shopping centers and positioned differently in the market. It takes up very little space and allows multiple vehicles to be charged simultaneously, but using different charging modes.”
This is explained by Jacopo Carlo Perino, Chief Sales Officer and Co-Founder of Plus EV, the company’s business unit specializing in charging stations for electric and hybrid vehicles.
At E-Charge 2025, within its high-power range, Plus International presented chargers made entirely of 316L stainless steel, using stainless steel to prevent rust and keep operating temperatures lower, even when the units are exposed to direct sunlight. The product is designed for public charging and corporate fleets.
A market undergoing a strong recovery
“After the stagnation of 2024, the sector is now experiencing a strong recovery,” says Perino. “Sales of electric vehicles are increasing, and charging stations are gradually following the same trend. Overall, we are seeing a growing willingness to use public electric charging.”
And what about the future? “The outlook is positive,” he replies. “The Italian market is slower to develop than others, but it is following an unstoppable trend. Although the evolution is slow, I believe that by 2030 volumes will have more than doubled.”
Plenty of contacts at the exhibition
A comment on Plus International’s participation in E-Charge 2025? “The number of contacts exceeded expectations,” Perino concludes. “The 2023 edition had already provided us with an excellent showcase, and this edition allowed us to replicate that positive experience.”
