What is vSECC?
vSECC is a communication controller for the fast implementation of high power charging stations. The charge controller serves as a communication interface between the electric vehicle, the charging station management system, the power electronics and peripherals.
vSECC supports charging communication over CCS, NACS, CHAdeMO, AC and inverted or roof-mounted pantograph charging.
vSECC.MCS supports MCS in addition to CCS. Both cover the communication protocols ISO 15118, DIN SPEC 70121 and IEC 61851. The vSECC additionally supports CHAdeMO and OppCharge.

Application Areas
vSECC supports two charge points in different standards simultaneously, ideal for DC high-power charging stations or mixed chargers with AC or DC charging points in public areas, residential or company parking lots.
vSECC.MCS is suitable for megawatt charging in industrial and commercial settings.
vSECC can be used for inverted and roofmounted pantograph charging using an external WLAN module and supports Value Added Services e.g. for the preconditioning of buses.
